In the past years, I was focusing on tick and tick borne diseases, especially on Theileria, Anaplasma, Babesia, Borrelia and Rickettsia pathogens. Main interests were new pathogen isolation, identification and taxanomy; development of diagnostic tools and vaccines; genetic and genome research as well as pathogen and host interaction.
