A study on Bi2O3/Li2O-doped medium temperature sintering (Ba, Sr)TiO3 series ceramics

摘要

The influence of Bi2O3/Li2O solid solution additive amount (W(Bi2O3/Li2O)=1.0-5.0%) on the properties of (Ba, Sr)TiO3(BST) series capacitor ceramics by means of conventional technology and the influence of Bi2O 3/Li2O solid solution additive amount on the microstructure of (Ba,Sr)TiO3 series ceramics by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM) have been investigated. At the same time, the material phase component has been determined by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD). The results show that with the increasing Bi2O3/Li 2O solid solution additive amount, the dielectric constant of materials decreasing while dielectric loss increasing and the change ratio of dielectric constant temperature decreasing,there are certain effect to improve ceramic properties of dielectric constant temperature while increasing Bi 2O3/Li2O solid solution additive amount, the grain size of materials become small, uniform and more than 2 μm, the materials is dense, the grain is regular shape and similar to square. The influence of Bi2O3/Li2O solid solution on the properties and the microstructure of BST series ceramics by Bi2O 3/Li2O solid solution existing at the boundary as glass. The BST ceramics with optimum comprehensive properties sintered at medium sintering temperature have been obtained having 1150°C sintering temperature.The influence mechanism of Bi2O3/Li 2O solid solution additive on the properties and microstructure of the BST ceramics is discussed.
