The global pharmaceutical industry topped US$ 856 billion in 2011. In Brazilian market the situation is also very favourable, bearing in mind that Brazil forms part of %26quot;pharmerging markets%26quot;. The economic expansion, new development policies and rise of new social classes are some factors that promote the nation%26apos;s economy. For the fine chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing is no different Among the family of antibiotics, it is worth mentioning amoxicillin and ampicillin, has been a strong trend in consumer, with sales over 6 billion pharmaceutical units and US$ 46 million/year for active pharmaceutical ingredient. Therefore, the present article examines the trends and increasing of amoxicillin and ampicillin in Brazilian market with regard to the opportunities ahead.
