摘要

A new A(6)B(5)O(18)-type cation-deficient perovskite Sr4La2Ti3Nb2O18 was prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction route. The phase composition, microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of the ceramic were characterized. This compound crystallizes in the trigonal system with unit cell parameter a = 5.5849(6)angstrom, c = 40.709(3)angstrom, V = 1099.7(1)angstrom(3) and Z = 3. It shows a high dielectric constant of 47, a high quality factors with Q(u) x f of 34,423 GHz, and a near zero temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (tau(f)) of -2 ppm degrees C-1. This low loss and temperature stable ceramic might be used for dielectric resonator (DR) applications.
