摘要

Suspended sediment transport is an important factor for the evolution of the offshore area. A large amount of suspended sediments are transported under the wave and current action in the radial sand ridge field of the South Yellow Sea. This paper introduces a numerical model which has adaptability to the complex border and the FVM (Finite Volume Method) conservation character. The character of this model uses triangular grid FVM and second-order Roe-type upwind format to solve the two-dimensional suspended sediment transport equation. The suspended sediment transport model has good-balanced performance in discrete the source terms, and introduces upwind numerical fluxes. The Roe-Sweby limiter maintains the monotonic and oscillation suppression of reconstruction. The suspend sediment concentration datum from experiment in the radial sand ridge field of South Yellow Sea were used to verify the suspended sediment transport model, and the results show that it is fine.
