摘要

This paper describes a design method for obtaining groups of finite impulse response filters that will present almost identical responses after re-sampling to a common lower sample rate. The results obtained indicate that the methodology performs substantially better for this purpose than optimal FIR design techniques such as the Parks-McClellan design algorithm. The development of this filter design technique was motivated by the need of the creation of anti-aliasing filters that could be used in two differently sampled source signals. The resulting re-sampled impulse responses of a pair of filters using this technique typically differ by less than 10(-7) for a unit impulse input signal.
