摘要
The new development of the fiber optic sensing techniques for monitoring corrosion of steel bar in concrete were described. The cause and phenomena resulting in corrosion of the steel bar in concrete were discussed briefly. The principle and characteristic of several types of fiber optic sensing schemes were introduced. The further study and development were also presented.
