摘要
The large-area nanostructured zirconia coating was prepared by explosive compaction-coating. Microstructure, porosity, and average grain size of the coating were investigated by SEM and XRD. The results show that the coating has excellent uniformity and compactness and the porosity is about 5%. The composition does not change after the explosive compaction-coating. The coating is mainly composed of monoclinic phase without cubic zirconia, and the coating average grain size is similar to that of the powder. The ceramic coatings prepared by explosive compaction-coating can keep the dimensions and characteristics of nano powder materials.
