摘要

In the present study, for the first time cadmium titanate nanoparticles were prepared through a auto-combustion sol-gel method with the aid of cadmium nitrate and tetra-n-butyl titanate and cetyl alcohol. Cetyl alcohol played role as fuel to produce cadmium titanate nanoparticles. The formation of pure crystallized cadmium titanate nanoparticles occurred when the precursor was heat-treated at 700 A degrees C in air for 150 min. The structural, morphological and optical properties of as-obtained products were characterized by techniques such as XRD, EDS, SEM, and UV-visible. The magnetic properties of as-prepared cadmium titanate nanoparticles were also investigated with vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Besides, to fabricate a FTO/TiO2/CdTiO3/Pt-FTO solar cell structures, cadmium titanate thin films which prepared by Doctor's blade method, was directly deposited on top of the TiO2.
