In the title complex, [Cu(C20H20N4O8)(H2O)], the Cu atom has a distorted trigonal - bipyramidal coordination environment defined by an N2O3 donor set; the Cu and water O atoms lie on a twofold axis. In the crystal structure, extensive hydrogen bonding links molecules into a two-dimensional network.
