A decision-making method based on Dempster-Shafer theory and prospect theory

Making decisions is one of the most important activities of human beings. Nowadays, Many works about decision-making are proposed, which use probability theory, possibility theory and fuzzy measures as representation model to solve decision-making problem, but these methods ineffectively reflect the uncertain and imprecise process of decision-makers' perception. Aiming at this issue, a new decisionmaking method based on Dempster-Shafer theory and prospect theory is proposed in this paper. Different from other methods, the proposed model concerns psychology of human being and can control more uncertain factors. To show the effectiveness of this method, a real problem of travelers' route choice has been provided.
