摘要
A new Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) pulse sequence is proposed for manipulating ParaHydrogen Induced Polarization (PHIP) at high magnetic fields. The technique enables conversion of the multiplet spin order into net polarization, which is much easier to exploit in many practical applications of PHIP. The pulse sequence is easy to implement; moreover, it filters out all residual signals from thermally polarized spins. Such "background free" detection is promising for sensitivity enhancement in NMR spectroscopy and improved contrast in NMR imaging.
