摘要

The European Union Emission Trading Scheme should support the reduction of greenhouse gases in the economic effective way. The reduction of the most important greenhouse gas (carbon dioxide) emission could be realized by electricity savings, technology changes and increase of efficiency of power generation, and sequestration of CO(2). (the Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage CCS technologies). Each method of the CCS is connected with the significant investment and operation cost. The paper presents the technical-economic analysis of the CCS technologies and their influence to the cost of electricity production under risk taking into consideration the Directive 2009/29/UE. The comparison of the results presented in the available sources is made.
