摘要

According to the Maxwell equations and boundary conditions, the transmission Maker fringe of fundamental wave 1 064 nm from air to second-order nonlinear medium was simulated by the software Math computer aided design, the intensity formula of double frequency wave of 523 nm generated in the nonlinear medium was obtained. meanwhile, the measurements of the second harmonic generation of nonlinear crystals and electric-thermal field poled glasses were performed by Maker fringe ways and compared with theoretical results. It was shown that the simulated results fit well with the result of Maker fringe patterns for nonlinear crystals, and also agree well with the poled glasses to some extent. With this theoretical simulation, it is better for us to design nonlinear materials, perform the procedures of Maker fringe measurements and understand the mechanisms of nonlinear poling.
