摘要

Acoustic lens is the kernel of acoustic microscopes. Its quality determines the quality of an imaging system. For impulse acoustical imaging system, it becomes more important. The ultrashort probe excited by an acoustic lens is an unique ultrasound source. Analyzing the signal structure of ultrashort pulse is the key to evaluate the acoustic lens. This paper presents a mathematic model, simulating an impulse pulse generated by a disc-shaped piezoelectric transducer of an acoustic lens, evaluating the temporal spatial distribution of the impulse wave propagation in the waveguide of the acoustic lens. The simulation results show this model is significant and practical for investigating the mechanism of acoustic ultrashort pulse and its application.
