摘要

Combustion noise and piston-slap noise of an internal combustion engine usually overlap in time domain and frequency domain, an algorithm identifying noise sources of internal combustion engine was proposed. Firstly, the location of the sensors was optimized by correlation analysis on the exposed test parts of engine without lead covering, supplying an effective input to the separation algorithm. Secondly, the signal collected by the sensors is firstly processed by the first-order differential microphone array technology. Then the decomposition process consisting of independent component analysis and binary mask gives an initial division of the signal. This process is continuously iterated until all the signals are separated eventually. Finally, the correctness of the results was verified by comparing the vibration signal with the components obtained by merging the signals from the same sound source. Results show that this new algorithm can effectively separate the combustion noise from piton-slap noise of internal combustion engine with less calculation and stable performance.
