BUCKLING OF REPEATABLE ELEMENTS IN THE STRUCTURE OF POLYMER NANOCOMPOSITES

In the present paper we propose two models on the basis of the thermo-activation theory to investigate the buckling of an individual nanotube and individual nanotube incorporated in polymer matrix. Using these models we calculated the critical stresses in both cases of individual nanotube and of repeatable elements. A comparison between our results and those obtained by other authors was performed.
