摘要

A simultaneous solid phase extraction procedure for preconcentration of Au (III) and Pd (II) and determination by atomic absorption spectrometry has been established. The analytes were adsorbed on naphthalene-methyltrioctyl ammonium chloride as AuCl4- and PdCl42- complexes. The adsorbed metal complexes were then eluted from the column with a thioacetamide solution and determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The effect of different variables such as pH, reagent concentration, the concentration and volume of the eluent, flow rate and interfering ions on the recovery of the analytes was investigated. The calibration graph was linear in the range 5-480 ng mL(-1) of gold and 5-500 ng mL(-1) of palladium in the initial solution with r = 0.9983 and 0.9989, respectively. The limit of detection based on 3S(b) criterion was 2.3 and 3.5 ng mL(-1) for gold and palladium, respectively. The relative standard deviation for ten replicate measurements of 40 ng mL(-1) gold and 50 ng mL(-1) palladium of was 3.2 and 3.4% respectively. The method was applied to the determination of gold and palladium in ore and water samples.
