摘要

New fusulinids from the Kinik and Beitepe localities of the Karakaya zone in Turkey are described. Representatives of genera Pseudofusulinoides, Ultradaixina, and Pseudofusulina from the first locality are presumably of the Sakmarian Age. The fusulinid assemblage of the Beitepe locality includes 23 species of 18 genera and subgenera: Schubertella, Mesoschubertella, Minojapanella, Neimonggolina, Biwaella, Toriyamaia, Pamirina (Levenella), R (Pamirina), Quasifusulina, Rugosofusulina, Darvasella, Dutkevitchia, Leeina, Darvasites, Robustoschwagerina, Chalaroschwagerina, Pseudofusulina, and Praeskinnerella. The assemblage is typical of the Yakhtashian Stage of the Lower Permian. Biogeographic analysis showed that fusulinids of both localities mostly populated the Paleotethys northern areas, in particular, northern Afghanistan and Darvaz. Accordingly, paleobiogeographic zoning of Altiner et al. (2000) who included these areas in the Northern bio-facies belt of the Gondwana southern margin appears deserving a criticism. New species Pseudofusulinoides kinikensis and Pseudofusulina ishiklariensis are described.
