摘要

To understand the microstructure and properties of AZ31 as-cast Mg alloy plate, rolling tests were carried out in this paper. The influences of rolling pass and deformation extent on microstructure and mechanical properties were studied by experiments. After the plate rolled by four passes at the same temperature and equal deformation extent, the thickness changes from 20 mm to 4.8 mm. The tensile strength, yield strength and elongation are 275 MPa, 187 MPa and 32%, respectively. The properties of plate are uniform at all direction. It is revealed that the mechanical properties are related to the average grain siz and grain orientation.
