摘要

Fast selective catalytic reduction of NOx by hydrogen (fast Hz-SCR) was studied for the first time over Pd-based catalysts. Pd/Al2O3 and Pd/SiO2 exhibited attractive activity and gave 100% NOx conversion above 200 degrees C. In contrast, Pd/MgO had no activity. The supports had a decisive effect on the performance of the catalysts in fast H-2-SCR reaction. Compared with the standard H-2-SCR process, a significant enhancement of de-NOx efficiency was achieved in the fast H-2-SCR process. In situ DRIFT data indicated that the acceleration of ammonia formation and its reaction during the fast H-2-SCR process should be the key point for the enhancement of deNO(x) efficiency.
