摘要

The physical optics and shooting bouncing ray method are combined to rapidly compute the composite scattering from electrically large three-dimensional target on a dielectric rough surface. To avoid modeling the infinite rough surface, the image theory and its modification are used to account for the electromagnetic interactions between the target and the infinite ground with very minimal computation resources. Meanwhile, this proposed method can separate the overall multipath scattering into four main components, therefore, it is beneficial to quantify the scattering characteristics for the synthetic aperture radar imagery in this field.
