Matrix measurers of luminance (MML) allow to change approach to the simulation calculations (using computers) in the lighting technology field. Most of the simplifying assumptions of the light source models can be eliminated. In cause of this the results of computer simulations are close to the laboratory measurements results. In paper will be presented the results of the study and issues related with mathematical modeling of real light sources, based on data obtained from measurements of MML.
