摘要
Center-slot-feeding technique for circularly polarized (CP) antennas is presented in this letter. The first CP patch is cut by T-shaped crossed slot with different lengths. And the second is a corner-truncated patch with H-shaped slot. Both of the antennas are fed by balance-like parallel strips at the center. Measured results show that the antenna with crossed slot obtains bandwidths of 20.3% (2.21-2.71 GHz) for /S-11/ <-10 dB and 18.5% (2.16-2.6 GHz) for axial ratio (AR) <3 dB. The corner-truncated patch with parasitic strips has bandwidths of 23.9% (2.14-2.72 GHz) for /S-11/ <-10 dB and 17.1% (2.21-2.62 GHz) for AR <3 dB. Most notably, due to the slot-center-feeding mechanism, good radiation patterns with low cross polarization and stable gain of over 8 and 8.5 dBic are obtained.
