摘要
Heliostat field or solar tower collector is one of the most promising concentrated solar power technologies available in the market. Due to its high operating temperature, heliostat field collector can be implemented in a wide range of applications from solar power generation to industrial commodity production. There are several currently operating, under construction, and planned heliostat fields around the world. In this paper, a brief overview of the current state of the art, applications, assessment methods, future perspective, and methods of improvement are discussed.
