摘要

A novel planar ultra-wideband antenna with 3.6/5.5 GHz dual band-notched characteristics is proposed in this article. By etching an S-shaped step-impedance resonator slot on the feed line, antenna with dual band-stopped filtering properties in the world interoperability for microwave access/wireless local-area network bands are achieved. The proposed antenna consists of a beveled rectangular metal patch and a 50 O coplanar waveguide transmission line. The antenna is successfully designed, simulated, and measured, which exhibits broadband impedance matching and stable radiation patterns. The mechanism of this dual band-notched antenna is also discussed in this article.
