摘要

A sensitive polarographic adsorptive catalytic wave of vanadium(V) -Alizarin red S (ARS) complex was obtained by single-sweep polarography in 0.15 mol/L hexamethylenetetraamine-hydrochloric acid buffer solution containing 1.0 X 10(-5) mol/L ARS and 0.12 mol/L sodium bromate at pH 5.5. The peak potential appears at -0.64V(vs. SCE). The peak height is linear with the concentration of vanadium in the range of 1.0 x 10(-9) similar to 2. 0 X 10(-6) mol/L. The electrode processes of the adsorptive catalytic wave have been studied. The method has been applied to the determination of vanadium in water samples with satisfactory results.
