摘要

Short circuit (open circuit) fault as the most common failure of aircraft electrical power supply system, it is usually analyzed using the traditional WT (Wavelet Transform) detection. This paper is concerning to introduce a new method to analyze that fault, using the STFT (Short-Time Fourier Transform) as a time-frequency signal analysis tools to detect aircraft voltage. STFT can be used to assess the quality of electricity generated by the IDG (Integrated Drive Generator) and APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) with the change of aircraft voltage signal amplitude curve, and to effectively distinguish the voltage abnormal caused by the short-circuit fault and the start of IDG and APU, then the failure of the aircraft power supply system can be initial detected and located. The simulation experiments show that the method detects abnormal voltage with high precision, and it is better than wavelet transform method in resisting the harmonics and noise.
