摘要

Multisensory interactions of audiovisual stimuli presented at different location in visual-attention tasks were investigated using behavioral and electrophysiological measures in humans. Behavioral results showed that responses to the spatially incongruent audiovisual target stimuli were faster and more accurate than those to unimodal visual target stimuli. We recorded event-related potentials (ERPs) of visual, auditory and spatially incongruent audiovisual stimuli. The effects of audiovisual interaction were examined by comparing the ERPs to audiovisual stimuli and the sum of ERPs to unimodal visual and auditory stimuli. ERP results showed that two audiovisual interactions effects were found around 300 ms: (1) at centro-medial areas, and (2) at left and right ventral areas. The results suggested that audiovisual interactions effects originated from later cognitive processing stage, not at early sensory processing under spatially incongruent condition in a visual-attention task.
