摘要

In last few decades, the perovskite glass ceramics have attracted attention of researchers and scientists. The advent of glass ceramics has enabled the overall range of polycrystalline ceramic materials to be extended and amplified which enabled the applications to be addressed that would not readily be possible with other types of ceramics, e. g. sintered materials. Soon after the discovery of the glass ceramic process, attempts were made to produce glass ceramics having high permittivity, low dielectric loss, high electrical resistance and dielectric breakdown strength by precipitating ferroelectric phases in the glassy matrix. In order to produce glass ceramics of high dielectric constant, barium titanate glass ceramics is the first ferroelectric perovskite. In this review article, we are giving results of crystallisation behaviour of some perovskite glass ceramics such as BaTiO3, SrTiO3, PbTiO3, (BaSr)TiO3 and (PbSr)TiO3.
