摘要

A method for selecting the modulation signals of multiple HVDC supplementary controllers is proposed. First, the wide-area signals with the best observability to the objective modes are selected by using the residue analysis. These signals are paired with the input signals at the setting points of HVDC currents to form various modulation signal schemes. Next, for each modulation signal scheme, the interaction degrees among the multi-HVDC supplementary control loops are quantitatively investigated by use of the relative gain array (RGA). After that, the optimal HVDC modulation signals for the given control points are selected according to the RGA characteristics based on the above quantitative results of the RGA analysis. Because the RGA computation is implemented based on the residue analysis, the proposed method can effectively reduce computational complexity and shorten signal selection process. Finally, the simulation results for China Southern Power Grid verify the validity and efficiency of the method proposed in this paper.
