Simulation and Experimental Validation of Jet Interaction

摘要

The present paper examines the relevance of grid and simulation accuracy of hypersonic CFD in terms of jet interaction. The simulation of jet interaction flow adopted four sets of grids and three calculation methods (Minmod interpolation limiter using the full flow field Steger-Warming flux splitting method, Min-Van interpolation limiter using the full flow field Steger-Warning flux splitting method, Minmod interpolation limiter using the flow field Steger-Warning flux splitting method). The pressure distribution and experimental result obtained using the three algorithms of the hybrid limiter all showed good agreement, indicating the effectiveness of the adaptive limiter in improving the boundary layer simulation accuracy of separation flow. For the effect of wall pressure for the different grids, the change in flow and circumferential grid near the vent failed to produce a significant effect on the calculation. This result indicates that the resolution of the flow and circumferential grid has reached the requirement of fine simulation of flow in said region.
