摘要
Over recent years, ageing of the population of Changsha, China has become an increasingly serious concern. This paper analyses the characteristics of the ageing population and the development of elderly care institutions in Changsha. With the rise in the elderly population in Changsha, more and more institutions for their care are needs. After analyses of the current situation, this paper proposes a variety of measures that should be deployed, including selection of an appropriate model for elderly care, the construction of more elderly care institutions and the creation of laws and regulations to enforce the model.
