摘要

The paradigm of proxy signature is a method for an entity to delegate signing capabilities to other participants so that they can sign on behalf of the entity. Proxy signature is one of important cryptographic protocols, however, there are only few provable secure proxy signature schemes to date. In this paper, a new provably secure proxy signature scheme based on Gap DiffleHellman (GDH) group is proposed. Advantages of this scheme are the short length of proxy signatures, low computational cost of the signature generation. To our knowledge, length of the new proxy signatures is shorter than the previous proposed proxy signatures. So it is very suitable for low-bandwidth environments.
