Application of improved FAHP in evaluation of AUV overall performance

In order to evaluate the AUV overall performance and select the excellent design scheme, the evaluation system of AUV overall performance was built based on expert advices. The weight coefficient of the evaluation indicators were solved by the method of the improved FAHP. Then, the applied research to evaluate the AUV overall performance was conducted. The results shows that the evaluation model can objectively reflect the AUV overall performance clearly. This evaluation method can effectively transform the multi-objective problem into a single objective problem. It can be used for evaluation of the AUV performance and optimization of AUV design scheme.
