摘要
NOTES - Surgical Perspectives Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) is an emerging technique. However, its proposed advantages should be established by its comparison with standard procedures. Peri- and postoperative complications are a major focus in this evaluation. If NOTES could offer the same surgical efficacy as a laparoscopic approach but with more benefit, NOTES might supersede laparoscopic surgery as the gold standard in a number of indications for surgical intervention.
