摘要

The effects of alumina (Al2O3) addition on the morphology and corrosion resistance of phosphate chemical conversion (PCC) coatings with and without ultrasonic irradiation (UI) on 35CrMnSi steel were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscope and electrochemical experiments. The results revealed that Al2O3 altered the preferential growth direction of crystals and significantly decreased crystal size. UI was beneficial to the uniform distribution of Al2O3 particles in the coating. By means of electrochemical analysis, the PCC coating with Al2O3 addition and UI endowed the bare steel with better corrosion resistance due to its fine and dense microstructure.
