摘要

In broadband digital beamforming, the phase-shift method results in beam pattern deviation and main lobe distortion and cannot effectively suppress broadband interference. A system using digital time-delay filters and a tapped delay line (TDL) was built to implement broadband beamforming with interference suppression. This method uses digital true time delay filters to compensate for the phase deviation at the pointing bearing and uses space-time filtering based on TDL to suppress broadband interference. Analyses and simulations show that this method is effective for both broadband beamforming and broadband interference suppression, which improves the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) gain of received signal processing by broadband digital beamforming.
