摘要
Retgersite, nickel sulfate hexahydrate, forms a chiral crystal with space group P4(1)2(1)2 or P4(3)2(1)2. A chiral crystal of nickel sulfate hexahydrate was found to act as a chiral initiator of asymmetric autocatalysis, affording highly enantiomerically enriched pyrimidyl alkanols with the corresponding absolute configurations.
