摘要

The processes of diffusion and segregation of sulphur in austenitic-class X20H16A Gamma 6 steel under heat treatments in the temperature range of 950-1050 degrees C during 3, 4 or 14 hours within the saturating sulphur-containing medium (anhydrous sodium sulphate Na(2)SO(4)) are investigated. To determine the depth and chemical composition, optical metallography, scanning electron microscopy, and x-ray spectroscopy are used. The temperature and time of annealing influences on the rate of diffusion processes are analysed. Diffusion coefficients are calculated by means of the second Fick's equation for the case of diffusion element penetration from environment to the semi-infinite sample through the surface.
