摘要
The surface modification of CNTs, is an area of great opportunities because of the problems agglomeration that present this type of nanoparticles to form part of a nanocomposite, from being unable to disperse evenly, for this reason in the present article are presents and discusses the study surface modification of multi-walled CNTs (MWCNTs) assisted by ultrasonic energy, in this research were used organic acid, such as acetic acid and citric acid in aqueous solution, all the products were characterized by spectroscopy infrared FT-IR (ATR), dispersion tests, contact angle, and titration of acid groups, showing the presence of carboxylic groups presents in the surface MWCNTs.
