摘要

Conduction velocity of the excitation along the muscle fibres (CV) of biceps brachii muscle was measured in 16 healthy untrained subjects and rowers aged 16-18 years (17.3 +/- 0.76 years) to be estimated for muscles resistance to fatigue. CV was evaluated by the averaged potential of interference electromyogram (EMG) recorded by a surface multielectrode with small leading-off areas during an isometric contraction before and after the peripheral muscle fatigue (MF). The mean CV values of rowers were significantly higher at all muscle tensions (p < 0.05) compared to untrained persons. After peripheral MF significantly lower mean CV values for 25 and 100% of MVC in untrained teenagers group and in rowers group - for 100, 75 and 50% of MVC were observed. No significant difference was found for changes of normalized CV mean values after peripheral MF between two groups. In conclusion, the established significantly higher mean CV values in rowers compared to untrained subjects in all levels of voluntary muscle contraction most probably are due to the exchanged muscle fibre diameter and heavy myosin chains as a result of the training process and higher concentration of speed fibres type II in rowers who developed higher force of contraction.
