Disinfectant sprays versus wipes: Applications in behavioral health

We evaluated the utility and usability of a spray and a wipe-based cleaner/disinfectant in a behavioral health setting where health care providers institute cleaning and disinfection procedures. The spraybased version resulted in significantly lower adenosine triphosphate readings after use compared with the wipe version. Staff surveys indicated that users preferred the spray version.
