摘要
The Poincare instability of nuclear shapes with respect to reflection asymmetric distortions is investigated in the framework of the Lublin-Strasbourg drop model and the modified Funny-Hills shape parametrization. It turn out that such an instability can, indeed, be observed, in particular in light nuclei, when exploring the whole nuclear deformation-energy landscape, but neither for nuclear ground-state nor saddle-point deformations.
