Anomalous propagations of electromagnetic waves in uniaxial metamaterials with a unique dispersion relation

We investigate the propagation of electromagnetic waves in the uniaxial metamaterial with a unique dispersion relation. We show that the refraction behaviors of two eigeinmodes are always opposite to each other, leading to potential applications.
