摘要

Collocalia esculenta L. is called Yanwo in China. A rapid and non-destructive method, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), for the classification of six yanwo, which are come from Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong. They have their own characteristic infrared spectra. The six yanwo can be classified by the relative intensity of those absorption peaks. It is a very fast, simple, reliable method.
