摘要
Acanthopanax is a widely ingested vegetable in China, but its elemental composition has not yet been characterized. Essential and toxic elemental concentrations in Acanthopanax were determined by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), including Al, B, Ca, Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, Ni, P, Si, Sr, Ti, V, Pb, and Zn. The concentration data were analyzed by chemometric approaches: correlation analysis, principal component analysis, and hierarchical cluster analysis. The essential elemental concentrations suggest that Acanthopanax may be a suitable source of these nutrients. The chemometric results demonstrate the varieties and ages had meaningful influence on the elemental patterns of Acanthopanax. Storage and processing did not significantly affect the element concentrations except when pickled.
