摘要

A modified anisotropic PUFF equation of state for composite materials under elastic and plastic condition is proposed in this paper, which can not only calculate the non-linear behavior of volume change but also reveal anisotropic strength effect of material under compression and dilation. Taking the 2D impact problem and thermal shock wave problem under X-ray radiation of orthotropic composite material for example, a numerical simulation is completed using the finite element program, and the pressures calculated by traditional and modified PUFF equation of state are compared. The results show that the two pressures have obvious difference at low compression and tension state, but with the increase of pressure the difference reduces and the pressures tend to be consistent gradually. These conclusions are coincident with the theory that the anisotropic material tends to be isotropic at high pressure and exhibits anisotropic property at low pressure.
