Sensor for hydrogen peroxide determination was constructed by bulk- modification of carbon ink with iron (II) - oxide FeO as a mediator. The sensor could be operated at a working potential of -200 mV versus the Ag/AgCl, flow rate of 0.5 mL min(-1) and carrier medium (0.1 mol L(-1) phosphate buffer pH 7.5) and exhibited good reproducibility and stability. It has a detection limit for hydrogen peroxide of 40.2 mu g L(-1) (3 sigma) and a dynamic range of 5 - 2000 mg L(-1) H(2)O(2) (i[mu A] = 0.0176 c [mg L(-1)] + 0.5066, r(2)=0.998).
