摘要

This paper presents an analytical model to predict power and voltage output of a vibration-induced electromagnetic micro-generator, in which it involves coupling issues such as mechanical kinematics, electromagnetism, and electronics. This micro-generator converts mechanical energy to electric energy through vibration motion, and consists of a movable permanent magnet (PM) membrane on the center plate of a helical micro-spring and a plane helical filament winding induction coil. Analytical formulas for the spring stiffness of the helical micro-spring vibrating system, the three-dimensional construction of the magnetic field during the PM movement and the electromotive force (EMF) induced on the whole plane helical induction coils are developed. Good agreement for EMF, electric power and electric current between experimental and analytical results are found. The analytical models for a vibration-induced micro-generator are validated.
